To register, head to our registration page and use the interactive grid to select your camps and preferred weeks. Camps are listed down the left side, and weeks run across the top.

Check the boxes for each session you'd like to join. Once you've made your selections, click “Add All Selected to Cart” to begin the checkout process and complete your registration.

Each camp is a standalone one-week experience—you can register for one or multiple weeks based on your child’s interests and availability.

Summer camps operate from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. 

Drop-off hours are from 8:30 to 9:00 am, and pick-up is from 4:00 to 4:30 pm.

Details about daily drop-off and pick-up procedures will be shared by email shortly before your child’s camp begins.

Need a later pickup? After Care is available until 6:00 pm. Click here for details.

Yes! We offer After Care from 4:00 to 6:00 pm for families who need a later pickup. Campers enjoy supervised activities in a relaxed, safe setting—perfect for winding down after a fun day.

Please remember to register for the After Care add-on separately for each week your camper requires extended supervision.

All programs take place at Metropolitan Preparatory Academy, located at:

1 Duncan Mill Road, North York ON, M3B 1Z2

Programs make use of our state-of-the-art biotech lab, classrooms, studios, and outdoor space—depending on the camp.

Our camps are open to youth aged 10–13, or those entering Grades 5 to 8 in the fall. Specific age guidelines may apply to some camps—check each description for details.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to camps@metroprep.com. Please include your camper’s full name and the specific camp and session you wish to cancel.

  • Cancellations made on or before May 31, 2025 are eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per session.
  • Cancellations made on or after June 1, 2025 are non-refundable, except in cases of documented medical reasons that prevent participation.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for absences, late arrivals, early departures, missed days due to illness or weather, or dismissal due to behaviour.

If Metro Prep cancels a camp session for any reason, you will be notified by email and given the choice of a full refund or a transfer into another available session.

Campers should bring:

  • A nut-free lunch and snacks

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Comfortable clothing (some camps include hands-on lab or art activities)

  • Any items noted in your camp’s welcome email

All materials, equipment, and supplies for activities are provided.

Yes, you can transfer your camper to a different session, as long as the request is made at least 14 days before the start of the original camp. Transfers are subject to availability and a $25 administrative fee.

If you’d like to request a transfer, please email camps@metroprep.com with your camper’s name and the session you’d like to switch to. We’ll do our best to help!

Not at all! Our camps are designed to be engaging and inclusive for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

Whether your child is trying something new or already passionate about science, music, or theatre, they’ll be guided by instructors who know how to meet kids where they are.

Our camp staff includes experienced educators from Metro Prep’s GENIUS Biotechnology Program and SMITH Program. They’re passionate about working with kids and creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can learn and grow.

They’re both! Our programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help kids learn real skills in a fun and engaging environment. Every session is hands-on and rooted in meaningful learning—without feeling like school.
