Not at all! This camp introduces bioengineering concepts from scratch. All campers will comfortably learn new skills through easy-to-follow, hands-on activities.
Yes. Campers safely perform simple plant-cloning techniques such as rooting cuttings under careful supervision. No advanced or hazardous techniques are used.
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are best. Lab coats, goggles, and any required safety materials are supplied by the camp.
Days include creative biotech activities, hands-on experiments, group collaboration, outdoor breaks, and an afternoon project workshop, concluding with a daily reflection and fun recap activity.
