Select your preferred programs by clicking "Add" next to the camp week or workshop date you wish to attend. You can include multiple sessions in your cart before proceeding to checkout.
What's the difference between a camp and a workshop?
Summer Camps (Ages 10-14) are week-long, full-day programs offered during the summer, focused on immersive biotech exploration. Optional after-care is available until 6:00 pm.
GENIUS 1-Day Workshops (Ages 12-16) are short, targeted sessions that take place on Saturdays throughout the year. Each workshop focuses on a single biotechnology technique such as CRISPR gene editing or infectious disease diagnostics, offering in-depth exploration of lab methods, real-world applications, and scientific reasoning.

How do I register a second student?
If you’re registering more than one student, complete the checkout process for the first student, then return to this page and repeat the process for the next. Each registration is handled individually to ensure accurate details for camps, after-care, or workshops.
Does my child need any experience to join?
No prior experience is required! Our camps and workshops are open to all levels. Whether your child is new to biotechnology or already excited about genetics, DNA analysis, or gene editing, our instructors will guide them step-by-step in a supportive environment.
Who teaches the camp programs?
Our camp staff includes experienced educators from Metro Prep’s GENIUS Program. They’re passionate about biotechnology and skilled at creating safe, inclusive spaces where young learners can explore science hands-on.
Are the camps educational or just for fun?
They’re both! Our programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help kids learn real skills in a fun and engaging environment. Every session is hands-on and grounded in real science, using the same equipment and methods found in professional research settings.
